Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP cooking (preferred)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of collective catering and the HACCP method
- Skills related to the cook's trade
- Team spirit and ability to lead with rigour and kindness
- Organised, versatile and available
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 26 (Closes in 58 days)
Apply on the employer's website. You can also send your CV and cover letter by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
