Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP, BEP or professional title in construction and/or green spaces
Experience: Confirmed experience
The profile they look for:
- Multi-skilled technical ability, with building experience
- Works on their own, reacts quickly and organises well
- Electrical authorisation and driving of equipment (tractor CACES, etc.)
- Driving licence category B required
- Public service mindset and teamwork
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Work shared with another agent, with set hours on a rota
- Driving licence category B required
- Outdoor work, possibly at height, with protective equipment
- Occasional work outside usual hours
