Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, as the grades are entry level in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experience welcome, not required, in a cultural venue, a public building (ERP) or a local authority.
The profile they look for:
- Strong skills in handling, installation and general building maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety rules for public buildings (ERP).
- Good command of office software.
- Public service mindset and team spirit.
- Independence, quick reactions and ability to adapt.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 30 (Closes today)

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Service flat provided for absolute service needs, in exchange for watching over the buildings.
- Variable hours: evenings and occasional weekends, across three sites.
- Handling and carrying heavy loads.
- Electrical authorisation, first aid (SST) and fire safety training wanted or to be obtained after hiring.
