Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. Candidates recognised as disabled workers can also be recruited under a contract.

The profile they look for:
- Able to supervise a group of children.
- Able to keep prepared meals at the right temperature.
- Knows hygiene and safety rules for meal service.
- Able to build trust with parents.
- Good physical stamina.
- Punctual, careful and a good listener.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Work clothing is provided by the local authority.
