Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: BAFA
The profile they look for:
- Know hygiene, cleanliness and safety rules.
- Know how to give emergency first aid.
- Have basic knowledge of child psychology.
- Work well in a team and manage stress.
- Be motivated, organised, polite and gentle with children.
- Hold the BAFA.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:

- Adjoint technique grades, category C.
- The post can be filled by a contract worker because it is a specific post in a small local authority.
