Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of water analysis rules.
- Knowledge of water treatment techniques.
- Knowledge of the products used and some basic chemistry.
- Care for quality of work and speed of execution.
- Good people skills and teamwork.
- Punctuality, patience and ability to adapt.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email to the address given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, with no management duties.
- Remote work is not possible.
