Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone.
- Travel all the time between sites (driving licence required).
- Availability.
- Accept working hours that vary with the seasons.
- Electrical clearance is optional.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website linked from the offer, or send your application by post or email to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Constant travel between sites, driving licence required.
- Working hours vary by season (annualised hours).
- Post vacant from 1 November 2026.
