Civil servants in the adjoint technique grades and contract staff. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant applies. No competitive exam is needed for the entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Experience as a volunteer firefighter (SPV) is desirable.
The profile they look for:
- Category C driving licence required.
- Report well and suggest ideas.
- Handle many varied and unplanned requests.
- Use IT tools: technical software, Excel, Word.
- Strict in following administrative procedures.
- Good with people, a good listener, discreet and autonomous.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
