Civil servants of the territorial public service and contract staff. No competitive exam is needed, because the entry-level category C grade allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of working at height
- Knowledge of technical stage work (sound, lighting, control desk)
- Driving licence category B required
- Good physical fitness to carry loads and work outdoors
- Good people skills and high availability, including weekends and evenings
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, from the offer page. You can also send your cover letter and CV by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
