Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know green space maintenance techniques.
- Know safety rules for equipment and products.
- Know basic equipment mechanics and maintenance.
- Use personal and collective protective equipment.
- Organise your work and follow written or oral instructions.
- Be rigorous, responsive and a good listener.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 1 (Closes in 32 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email to the human resources department, preferably.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- No remote work.
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Duties also during snow or flooding.
- Hiring possible by transfer, secondment, eligibility list or contract.
