Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Master maintenance of air and water treatment installations
- Be able to diagnose a fault and alert your manager
- Know safety standards and ERP regulations
- Hold electrical authorisations, required or up to date
- Show rigour, autonomy and a sense of responsibility
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 7 (Closes in 8 days)
Send your application with the offer reference, by post or by email to the community of communes. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Irregular hours, one weekend in two and public holidays (except 1 May)
- Noisy, enclosed and humid environment, with chemical products
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory
- Full-time job, no remote work
