Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Vocational baccalaureate level, general building knowledge
The profile they look for:
- General building knowledge, vocational baccalaureate level
- Good knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures
- Basic ergonomics knowledge
- Driving licence category B
- Rigour, organisation and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work in a team and report back
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
