Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the basic techniques of building trades.
- Be a good team player.
- Be rigorous, punctual and reliable.
- Show leadership and initiative.
- Hold at least a category B driving licence.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 17 days)
Send your cover letter and CV to the town hall human resources department. You can also apply through the employer's site linked in the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- No management role.
- Selection is done through a recruitment interview.
- The post is vacant from 1 January 2027.
