Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The job is open at the adjoint technique des établissements d'enseignement grade, without a required competitive exam. Disabled workers can also get the job by contract.

The profile they look for:
- Skills in plumbing, electrics or painting.
- Working at height and lifting loads.
- Wearing personal protective equipment and work clothing.
- Handling dangerous tools, machines and equipment.
- Teamwork and good oral and written communication.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:

- Handling dangerous chemicals and lifting loads.
- Electrical authorisation and gas certification are mentioned in the offer.
