Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Be skilled in the mechanical upkeep of machines (mowers, aerators, sanding).
- Know techniques for maintaining green spaces or sports pitches.
- Be able to check sports equipment.
- Know health and safety rules at work.
- Driving licence B required, BE and/or C mentioned.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 12 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter to the City's Human Resources Department, by post or by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- On-call evenings (4 to 6 weeks per year) and about 8 weekends per year.
- Outdoor work, lifting loads, plant protection products and risky equipment.
- Variable hours, 38h45 per week, 21 days of RTT leave.
- Recommended training: certiphyto, CACES, electrical authorisation.
