Civil servants and non-civil servants can apply. A person without a competitive exam can be hired directly on an entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP (level 3) in a technical field, or otherwise cleaning and maintenance experience
The profile they look for:
- CAP/BEP level 3 diploma in a technical field, or cleaning and maintenance experience.
- Know cleaning methods and hygiene rules (HACCP standards).
- Know safety rules and correct lifting postures.
- Be comfortable with children and have an educational attitude.
- Be organised and able to work well as a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
