Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP Early Childhood Educational Assistant (CAP AEPE) or equivalent diploma, appreciated
Experience: Beginners accepted. Experience in a similar job appreciated.
The profile they look for:
- CAP AEPE or an equivalent diploma, appreciated.
- Knowledge of child development and needs from 2 to 6 years old.
- Good listening skills, kindness and professional discretion.
- Ability to work as a team with teachers and staff.
- Strict following of hygiene and safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
