Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. The post is open to the grades of principal ATSEM first class or second class.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP early childhood diploma, or ATSEM civil service grade
Experience: Experience in early childhood care appreciated
The profile they look for:
- Holds the ATSEM civil service grade or a CAP early childhood diploma.
- Experience in early childhood care is appreciated.
- Good judgement and logical thinking.
- Able to lift loads and wear required protective equipment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Continuous working day and mandatory presence on school days.
- Possible move within the town depending on staffing needs.
- Physical and repetitive work, with lifting and mandatory protective equipment.
