Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, as the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of older people and ageing
- Knowledge of HACCP rules
- Follows safety protocols and instructions
- Good people skills, listening and kindness
- Able to react quickly in emergencies
- Team spirit
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 11 (Closes in 10 days)
Apply on the employer's website. The offer also asks you to send your CV and cover letter by post to the CCAS.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- 37 hours per week.
- Works weekends and public holidays.
- Moves between sites and on-call duty possible.
- No remote work.
