The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of the commune's area
- Good people skills and ability to talk with residents
- Commitment and persistence
- Availability, especially evenings and Saturdays
- Organised and methodical
- Driving licence B and access to a car
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- A two half-day training session is mandatory in January 2027.
- Availability required in the evenings and on Saturdays.
- Driving licence B and a car required.
- Pay depends on the number of dwellings surveyed and how efficient the collection is.
