Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a public competition can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know how to maintain public spaces, green spaces and buildings.
- Know how to use and maintain equipment safely.
- Hold a driving authorisation or a suitable CACES certificate for machines.
- Follow safety rules, including during emergencies.
- Good public service spirit, teamwork, rigour and independence.
- Good physical fitness: lifting loads, working outdoors in all weather.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
