Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B.
- CACES certificate for mini excavator and aerial platform.
- Wears personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Technical knowledge of road cleaning.
- Follows safety rules on public land.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 14 (Closes in 14 days)
Apply on the employer's website, from the official offer. The file also asks for a handwritten cover letter and a detailed CV, to be sent to the town hall's human resources department.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- On-call duty one week in two during winter.
- Full time: 38 hours per week and 18 RTT days.
- Remote work not possible.
- Occasional heavy lifting for some tasks.
