Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Driving licence required.
- Possible on-call duty, for example for snow or demonstrations.
- Know the safety rules for equipment and cleaning products.
- Give a good image of the service and be polite with the public.
- Be organised, careful and methodical.
- Be able to work in a team with other services.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 11 (Closes in 40 days)
Apply on the employer's website or send your CV and cover letter to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence required.
- On-call duty possible, for example for snow or demonstrations.
- Full-time job, no remote work.
