Civil servants and contract staff can apply. No competitive exam is needed, because the entry grade of category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know cleaning and disinfection procedures and techniques.
- Know how to use electrical appliances and mechanical equipment.
- Choose and dose products according to the surfaces to clean.
- Follow safe handling and lifting postures.
- Organise your work according to the schedule and instructions.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time post, with a working window between 6 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Hours may change with service needs.
- Meal vouchers worth 7.50 € (4.50 € paid by the authority).
- Contribution to commuting costs.
- Contribution to health and provident insurance, subject to conditions.
