Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Training in a building trade.
- Skill with tools used for metalwork.
- Good handyman, able to make temporary repairs.
- Follows current standards.
- Discretion and a sense of public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your cover letter and CV to the commune by email, or apply on the employer's website given in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
