Civil servants (by transfer or secondment) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, as the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: CAP locksmith-metalworker
The profile they look for:
- CAP locksmith-metalworker, electrical authorisation and fit for work at height.
- Good knowledge of building trades, second fix work.
- Able to read plans and understand health and safety rules.
- Skilled in driving vehicles and machines, as authorised.
- Rigorous, discreet, public service minded and a team player.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working time alternates: week A is 32h40 over 4 days, week B is 40h50 over 5 days.
- Fixed hours from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 17:10.
- 22.5 days of annual leave and 14.5 RTT days.
- 75% of public transport costs paid by the employer.
