Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, as the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Diploma: CAP Petite Enfance; BAFA appreciated
The profile they look for:
- CAP Petite Enfance; BAFA appreciated.
- Know how to handle first aid situations.
- Know hygiene and safety rules, and safe handling and posture.
- Know how to run activities suited to children.
- Work well in a team and pass on information clearly.
- Energetic, rigorous, discreet and committed to public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Split and shifted working hours.
- Work on Wednesdays and during school holidays.
- Pay based on 35 hours per week, annualised.
