- Knowledge of HACCP hygiene and safety standards.
- Knowledge of how to use products and equipment safely.
- Ability to meet children's basic needs.
- Good organisation skills and team spirit.
- Good people skills, rigour and professionalism.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Annualised and multi-skilled post.
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 7:30-16:00 or 10:30-19:00.
- Wednesday and holidays: 8:00-14:30.
- Standard pay, bonus scheme and 2 half-yearly bonuses subject to conditions.
