Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the rules for using cleaning products safely.
- Know the right movements and postures for lifting loads.
- Be able to look after a group of children.
- Be able to work in a team and report on your work.
- Be discreet and punctual.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 9:30 to 18:00.
- Wearing personal protective equipment is required.
- Physical fitness needed to carry and move furniture, objects and laundry.
- Possible move between nurseries depending on service needs.
