Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know the social and medical care environment for older people
- Have experience in cleaning and hygiene in a community setting
- Follow hygiene and safety rules and respect the hierarchy
- Be a good listener with good people skills
- Be organised, rigorous and independent
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 22 (Closes in 21 days)
Apply on the employer's website, addressed to the President. Include the job reference number.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working time of 35 hours per week, fixed schedules depending on the mission
- Work one weekend in two and on public holidays, according to the rota
- Meetings possible outside working hours, time off in lieu
- Open grades: agent social, agent social principal 1st or 2nd class
