Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.

The profile they look for:
- Similar experience in a school or collective catering is wanted.
- Ability to work on your own, with initiative and teamwork.
- Method and rigour in applying hygiene and safety rules.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Working hours Monday to Friday, from 6am to 3pm or 9am to 6pm depending on the service schedule.
- Hours may change depending on the needs of the service.
