Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in building or technical maintenance trades
Experience: Experience in a similar job is preferred
The profile they look for:
- Experience in a similar job.
- CAP or BEP level training in building or technical maintenance.
- Driving licence B required; PL licence preferred.
- Electrical authorisation and CACES aerial platform certificate preferred.
- Knowledge of safety rules and current standards.
- Good organisation, autonomy, discretion and teamwork.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B required, with frequent travel.
- Technical on-call duty, about 8 weekends a year on average.
- Hours depend on the season: 40 hours a week in summer, 35 hours in winter.
