Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a public service competition can be hired, because the entry grade allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in plumbing, or technical building maintenance
Experience: Experienced level. Experience as a general worker in a town technical department is valued.
The profile they look for:
- Technical and regulatory knowledge of roads
- Lead site meetings and coordinate contractors
- Analyse faults and explain them clearly
- Ability to work alone and in a team
- Responsiveness, method and rigour
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Job to be filled as soon as possible.
- Driving licence B required, BE licence preferred.
- Remote work not possible.
- Working hours adapted to the needs of the department.
