Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. An entry grade in category C allows direct hiring without a competitive exam. People recognised as disabled workers can also apply through a contract.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours: 3 days from 10:00 to 18:00 and 2 days from 12:00 to 20:00, with a 1-hour break.
- Rest on Saturday and Sunday, but exceptional Saturday work is possible.
