Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP Cuisine or equivalent qualification (for contract staff, 3 years of catering experience can replace this diploma)
Experience: 3 years of catering experience, for contract staff, instead of the CAP Cuisine
The profile they look for:
- Know and apply hygiene and safety rules (HACCP method).
- Have skills or experience in cooking.
- Know cleaning techniques and how to use products.
- Be able to work in a team and work on your own.
- Adapt to the public of a school.
- Driving licence B and own vehicle required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
