1 Check the conditions You are here
Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Good organisation and rigour.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to apply hygiene and safety rules.
- Knowledge of products and how to use them safely.
- Able to lift loads and wear protective equipment (PPE).
- Good people skills and fitness for work confirmed by a medical check.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 26 (Closes in 24 days)
Apply on the Département de l'Isère website, in the job offers section, quoting the job reference. Attach your cover letter and CV, then fill in the form.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C post, adjoint technique grade.
- Ability to lift loads and wear PPE is required.
