Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because one of the grades is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Proven experience supporting older people, according to the profile sought
The profile they look for:
- Proven experience supporting older people
- Knowledge of hygiene protocols and cleaning products
- Independence, adaptability and teamwork
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to lead a group
- Calm and quick reactions in emergencies or tense situations
- Writing handover notes and using software for tracking
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 5 (Closes in 4 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the button on the official offer. Prepare a CV and a cover letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- A BEP Carrières sanitaires et sociales is ideally requested, but not required.
- A driving licence (permis B) is required. PSC1 or SST first-aid certification is a strong asset.
- Category C post, vacant from 1 December 2026.
- The post may be filled by a contract agent while waiting for a civil servant.
