Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of waste management, sorting and recovery.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules and safe lifting postures.
- Punctuality and respect for annualised working hours.
- Good relations with the public and waste collection contractors.
- Follows instructions and respects the hierarchy, works well in a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Long periods standing, heavy lifting, weekend work.
- Remote work is not possible.
