Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, as the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in metalwork
Experience: Experienced, two years minimum preferred
The profile they look for:
- Able to read plans, specifications and instructions
- Skilled in welding (arc, MIG, gas) and drilling
- Able to use machine tools such as shears, press brake and pillar drill
- Able to adapt, take initiative and organise own work
- Able to recognise when a specialist must be called in
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 13 (Closes in 42 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the employer, addressed to the Mayor. The offer also gives a button to apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Car driving licence (permis VL) required
- Electric boom lift and scaffolding certifications requested
- Remote work not possible
