Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

- Know HACCP rules and safety rules.
- Work well in a team and respect the hierarchy.
- Be good at listening, careful and full of energy.
- Accept an intense work pace and physical demands.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 24 (Closes in 23 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your application by email to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Variable hours on 3 rotas, service ends at 7pm.
- During school holidays: 6:30am to 1:30pm over 5 days.
- Remote work not possible.
- Constraints: standing for long periods, lifting loads, chemical products, heat.
