Civil servants and contract agents can apply. No competitive exam is needed, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.

The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B required
- Knowledge of cleaning and waste management is a plus
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety and sanitation rules
- Able to work alone and in a team
- Punctual, rigorous and reliable
- Polite and respectful with the public
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Outdoor work in all weather, with mandatory protective equipment.
- Road and snow on-call shifts, Saturday morning duty, evening and weekend work.
- Full-time: 38 hours per week, 18 days of RTT (time off in lieu).
