Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The entry grade in category C allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Friendly, good at talking with children and colleagues.
- Able to take initiative and suggest ideas.
- Good team player who stays calm day to day.
- Versatile: childcare, transport and kitchen work depending on the period.
- Available and flexible on hours, including Wednesdays and school holidays.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 30 (Closes today)
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the employer, using the address given in the official offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Workplace: Étain, with travel to Eix at lunchtime.
- Annualised hours, adjusted to the school calendar.
- Work during the autumn, winter and spring holidays and part of the August holidays.
- Job starts on 1 September 2026.
