Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Good interpersonal skills and a friendly manner.
- Good oral communication and rigour.
- Independence and a sense of public service.
- Ability to lift heavy loads.
- Driving licence required.
- Saturday availability required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your cover letter and CV to the human resources department, by email or by post.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
