Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Experience: Beginners accepted
The profile they look for:
- Be versatile, hands-on, independent and quick to react.
- Good skills in painting and rendering work.
- Be able to lift and carry loads.
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical work is a plus.
- Availability for the weekly on-call rota is essential.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website. Send your CV and cover letter to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Weekly on-call duty in the technical department is required.
- Regular carrying of loads is required.
- Driving licence category B is required.
