Civil servants in the adjoint technique grades can apply, and so can contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly at this entry grade of category C.

Diploma: National diploma or equivalent, under decree 2012-608 of 30 April 2012

- National diploma or equivalent (decree 2012-608)
- Knowledge of funeral law and funeral rites
- Skills in welcoming and listening to people
- Rigorous, discreet and good with people
- Driving licence category B
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
