Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed (experienced) level
The profile they look for:
- Skills gained through training, work or personal experience.
- Handy, independent and energetic.
- Well organised and cares about good work.
- Able to work in a team and report to a supervisor.
- Knowledge of heating and plumbing is a plus.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Annual working cycle with 15 days of RTT (days off).
- Travel between sites and wearing personal protective equipment.
- Occasional weekend work depending on events.
- Possible participation in on-call duty. No remote work.
