Open to civil servants and contract workers. A competitive exam is not needed, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.

- Know hygiene, cleanliness and safety rules

- Have a sense of public service and initiative
- Be able to report on your work
- Be in good physical condition
- Car driving licence (permis VL) required
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Car driving licence (permis VL) required.
- Takes part in the winter snow clearing campaign.
- Must wear the protective equipment (EPI) for the job.
