Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a public exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: General training in technical maintenance or green spaces
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Know how to use the equipment, techniques and products for maintenance.
- Know the basics of electrics, plumbing, locksmithing and green spaces.
- Organise, plan and share out the team's tasks.
- Follow and enforce workplace safety rules.
- Hold a category B driving licence.
- Use computers well.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category B driving licence required.
- Remote work not possible.
- Category C, no management role.
