Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service competitive exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Know safety rules and basic first aid.
- Know maintenance rules for buildings and roads.
- Know safe lifting and handling postures.
- Be autonomous, reactive and conscientious.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Part-time position, full-time across two communes.
- Remote work not possible.
- Service vehicle, equipment and protective gear provided.
- Desired training: SST, driving licence B, electrical authorisation BO, CACES B 1, 4, 8.
