Civil servants and contract workers can apply. The open grades are adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal (2nd or 1st class), and agent de maîtrise. No competitive exam is needed for this entry grade.

- Knowledge of equipment, tools and building maintenance

- Driving licence B required
- Electrical authorisations preferred
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Full-time job of 36.5 hours per week, with 9 RTT days off.
- On-call duty (astreintes), especially in winter (snow, ice).
- Living close to the work area is preferred.
- Remote work is not possible.
